It tells a romantic story of Emperor Akbar and his wife, Jodhabai. Emperor Akbar is a Muslim while his wife is a Hindu. In this film, due to the tolerance of the Emperor Akbar, they got a harmonious marriage even though they have different religious beliefs. The director has admitted that about 70% of the movie is based on his imagination. I suspected that this romantic story of a Muslim and a Hindu might not be 100% true.
